Izzy is still at the vet. Not getting worse, but not clearly getting better (though her temp did drop). The vet doesnapos;t know what to tell us to do, which is honestly frusterating, because then its left to us. And weapos;re not trained vets. Just people with hugely emotional attachment to our kitty.

So we told them weapos;d like another x-ray before we determine our course of action (or we could have authorized exploratory surgery, which of course, carries its own risk and alone could hurt her). Since sheapos;s not seemingly in pain now (not acting it, she plays, shes purrs. Absolutely not at the same level as usual, but I donapos;t know how much of that is stress, of being isolated both at home and now the vet).

So hard to know. I hope the x-ray later gives us a clearer course of action.

And this week sucks double because I woke up with a stomatch virus this morning. It was sudden and fast acting, and Iapos;m miserable. And the first half of the week was spent writing a miserable paper. Arg. Things have to get better.
